Note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Happy New Year! It's difficult to believe that the beautiful feast of Christmas is already behind us. The month of December was a busy one for all of us at school. Seven families involved with the Pastoral Care Center had a special Christmas thanks to your generosity. Did you see the wonderful picture of our children in the Nashua Telegraph honoring them for their efforts?

In December, we also enjoyed the Drama Club's Christmas production (be sure to check out the PhotoGallery for pictures), celebrated the feasts of St. Nicholas and the Immaculate Conception, and the children enjoyed shopping at the Gift Room. Three classes had field trips to various sites around the area.

Looking forward to February, we start the month off with a special week long celebration of Catholic Schools week, which ends with our Family Valentine's Dance. Also, our school will be participating in the Fuel Up to Play contest, sponsored by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League (see below).

School News

Alumni - We will be celebrating the school's 100th anniversary this year. If you are a former student or teacher, please fill out our contact form or send email to our Alumni Coordinator, so we we can keep you informed of special events.

Basketball - The Infant Jesus School's 5th/6th grade basketball team will be competing in the annual CYO tournament, beginning Feb. 5. Check out the girls and boys schedules for more details. All are welcome to cheer the children; games are held at Nashua Catholic RJHS.

Bookfair - Infant Jesus School will be running a Bookfair during Catholic Schools Week. The Bookfair will be open on Sunday, January 31, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm and on Monday through Friday, from 8:20 - 8:40 and from 3:15 - 3:35pm, so that you can shop with your children.

Calendar - Can't remember what's for hot lunch? Wondering when report cards are coming out? Be sure to check out the school's Google Calendar!

Delay or Cancellation - Watch WMUR-TV News 9 starting at 6:00 am or go to the WMUR web site.

FuelUptoPlay - Infant Jesus School will be competing in this national healthy habits/eating program, run by the National Dairy Council. Click on the log to get to their web site to start playing!
