Note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

I hope that you had a blessed Holy Week and an Easter filled with much joy!  April has arrived, but all of the snow we’ve received this winter has certainly reminded us that we live in New England.  Hopefully, Mother Nature is ready to give us a nice long stretch of warm spring weather!

I enjoyed seeing so many families at our annual Spaghetti Social especially since we had a “snow day”.  The food was delicious and the company was even better!  Father Paul, Father Eric, Deacon Carl, and I served a lot of pasta!  We also had a chance to welcome many new families to our IJS community.  I’m grateful to the Parent Group and the many volunteers that helped make this event possible.

Thank you once again for taking time to read all the information in this shuttle.  It’s important for you to stay informed and I appreciate your time.  Remember to mark your calendars with all of the important dates and happenings mentioned in this month’s newsletter.  I enjoy seeing you at our school events!

I'd like to remind you to visit the IJS web site.  Our “Photo Gallery” is always being updated with new photos.  Just click the “For Current Families” tab at the top of the home page.  The “Photo Gallery” tab will be located on the left hand side of the next web page.  Be sure to recommend our web site to any friends who might be interested in our school.

It’s difficult to believe that spring recess is just a few weeks away.  I hope that you’ll be able to spend some special time relaxing and rejuvenating with your children.  The end of the school year will be here before we know it!

Thank you for all you do for Infant Jesus School.  I appreciate your dedication and support!

God Bless,

Sister Marie Henault, p.m., principal
