Families of 2A!
First
quarter has ended and as of November 13 we are 52 days into our school
year and still moving full steam ahead!
What are
we doing in class?
Math:
We will begin working with money. We have been practicing by counting
money each morning during our morning meetings!
English:
We are now working on different types of words. We have started with
nouns and will move onto verbs.
Reading:
(2A group) We started our new stories about friendship and helping. We
have talked about different types of feelings and why it is nice to
surprise a friend. We also have secret pals who we are surprising with
random acts of kindness. We will discover who the secret pals are before
we leave for Thanksgiving!
Science:
Much to the enjoyment of everyone, we have started using our science
books…Yay!! We are starting by talking about natural resources; what
they are and how we use them. We will be planting seeds to go along with
this lesson.

Museum of Science Field Trip….bring a bag lunch, and arrive at
8:15 a.m.
I am extremely thankful for all the blessings I have received this
year…my class and students being at the top of my list!
