At IJS, students not only live as Jesus would, they spread the good news to others in the community through community outreach. Working with community outreach programs such as Corpus Christie Food Pantry, Families in Transition , and The Front Door Agency are but a few programs that students work with while helping out people in the community.
Infant Jesus Drama Productions

At IJS, students in grades 3-6 can participate and share their theatrical skills twice a year. Students, families, and the community are welcome to see our productions. Call the office to find out when our next show is.
IJS Buddy Program
Students at IJS participate in the buddy program. Older classrooms are paired up with younger classrooms to help foster a strong bond among students. Buddies sometimes share special events together, go to church togethere and sometimes read and participate in special activities together.
You Be The Chemist
Students from IJS and BGHS work together during the fall months in preparation for the You Be The Chemist Challenge held at BGHS. Students in grades 5-8 can compete in this challenging science program. '
Sixth Graders set for Middle School.
Sixth Graders have been working hard this year in preparation for moving on to Jr. High. Sixth graders participate in the annual County fair and Science Fair. Hard work and dedication can be seen in the many fine projects presented at these events.
