2019 is off to a great start! We hit the ground running after the Christmas break and completed the Second Quarter strong.
Our reading groups are reading books in the Fantasy Genre. Each group is working diligently to complete the work associated with their book as well as creating a game based on the book they are reading at home!
Our Math groups continue to work hard! Students completed a real world Christmas Project just before leaving for the holiday break. Each student completed a budget, and then utilized the budget to shop for the holidays for their family and friends. Students displayed all of their work in some very creative posters. Check out the pictures! More projects are in works for students to utilize their math skills in the real world!
Language arts find us finishing up our work on verbs in all their glorious forms! Next up. . .Adverbs! We held our school Spelling Bee on January 11th with one of our own 5th Graders, Bella taking the Gold Medal! She will be moving on to the State competition at the end of February in Concord!
Our religion class finds us learning more about the Seven Sacraments of our faith. Lent will begin soon and we will be praying daily for the many people who need those prayers.
Super Team Mac Students continue to learn about the diverse groups who lived and worked the land in North America as we became the United States of America!
