Greetings from 6N
If April showers bring May flowers..... What do May flowers bring????

                                            PILGRIMS!

In math we have finished our chapter on geometry. We are moving on to averages and graphing.  I am  holding some math review sessions prior to the Nashua Catholic testing.  More information will be emailed to the parents.

We have just finished a unit on Earth Science.  We will start a unit on physical science next.

Religion finds us still in the Old Testament.  The students made beautiful matchstick crosses to decorate our bulletin board.  The students will be performing the “Living” Stations of the Cross service for the school on Wednesday April 17th at 1:30.

In computer class we have finished a lesson on Google spreadsheets.  The children are now working on a  Google slides presentation.  The are reading a book about  a Saint that they chose and will create a presentation and present it to the class.

We are reviewing sentences in English and have just completed a persuasive essay.  We will be tackling diagramming next.

We are finishing up our book The Egypt Game. After vacation the students will begin to work on an independent project.

In social studies we finishing up a chapter on Ancient Hebrews.  I’m excited to go to the Museum of Fine Arts in May so the children can see some actual artifacts from some of the civilizations that we have studied this year.  The country projects were a big success. Thanks to all the parents who came to our Expo.

April vacation is just around the corner.  Please have a safe and restful week.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Noyes
