Welcome to Math Enrichment
The Math Enrichment classes at Infant Jesus School are small classes of students that meet at the same time that grade-level students learn math in the classroom. We believe in assisting in the development of each child in all areas, not just academics. The goal of the Math Enrichment program is to foster the student's ability to be organized, responsible, and independent, while providing a fun and challenging environment for them to excel at math. Math projects are given throughout the year to further build on lessons learned. We are committed to working with parents to ensure that students continue to both succeed and enjoy math.
Student wishing to do extra credit can look to Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org). Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. … Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
